SHOP THE LOOK:
Hi hello Happy Holidays!!!
I feel like I’ve been a little MIA lately trying to balance work, life and the blog but I’m back to share this outfit and some updates! I’ve been home in Kansas City for a week and it’s been so SO cold (but I love it!). Despite the fact I froze my butt off, I loved the idea of wearing a dress in the snow, so Molly reluctantly agreed to meet me in 12 degree weather (no joke). This dress was sent to me by Entourage and I dig their clothes because they’re SUPER reasonably priced. I paired it with my a Dogeared Jewelry necklace and earrings (linked above) and my all time favorite shoes, my Dr. Martens (also linked above). I love the daintiness of a lace dress paired with chunky shoes, it says “I’m a girly girl who’s down for an adventure”, ya feel? I linked similar dresses above too!
I go back to LA tomorrow and though I’m excited to get settled before the New Year, I’m also really sad to be leaving Kansas City. In so many ways it will always be home, but it’s weird growing up, especially when you go faraway for college, because you kind of leave your heart in different places. My family and friends are spread out and I can never quite feel completely “at home” knowing some are halfway across the country (in one direction or another). It’s a weird feeling but I’m also simultaneously grateful to be able to travel back and forth.
On another note, I’m really excited to see how t & tour blossoms in 2018; I feel like it’s already grown so much since I started blogging in July. I’ve gotten to meet and collaborate with so many cool creatives & brands and all these opportunities only make me more excited for what’s to come! I didn’t think I’d wander into the sphere of “fashion blogging” as much as I have but I suppose it’s unsurprising considering how much I love and appreciate personal style and editorial fashion. I hope to integrate some more SoCal travel posts/guides in the upcoming year and dive more into beauty products (because I love them, a lot). I’m also super excited I’m in the midst of re-launching the website to make it more user-friendly and shop-able (and cuter, of course).
I just want to say THANK YOU for following along on this little humble t & tour journey! From my very first reader (Hi MOM!) to all of you humans, I wouldn’t have a blog if there weren’t people there to read it, so THANK YOU for reading!
I’ll leave you with this quote: “There is no statute of limitations on starting over. Re-invent yourself every day… Let go of the idea that you must always be who you have always been.”
^^!!! No rules in 2018 ya’ll. Do you, whomever you want “you” to be.
Happy almost New Year!
